Artist Bio – Pamela Slaton

Pam creates assemblage art using materials that create tension between beauty and decay. Prior to assemblage and mixed media, Pam worked with pen, ink, pencil and paint drawing her own interpretative portraits and art of animals, plants, fungus and mythological figures.

Pam hopes to combine her art with her hobbies of gardening, witchcraft, herbalism, primitive skills, nature crafts, foraging and fiber arts, to retire early and untangle herself from capitalism, and provide value to her community.
